Child injured in accident at SR15 and US20 in Elkhart

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an accident that happened Thursday afternoon at SR 15 and US20.
The accident happened around 5 p.m.
A 7-year-old was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment.
There were three vehicles involved in the crash.
One of the vehicles fled the scene.
