LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Around 12:40 a.m. on June 24, a La Porte County Sherriff's Office deputy responded to a Johnson Township residence on reports of a sex offense involving a juvenile had been sexually assaulted. 

Deputies arrived and located the juvenile victim. A field interview was conducted with the victim and the suspect was present inside the residence. 

The suspect 40-year-old Juan Francisco was transported to the La Porte County Jail. Francisco was charged with two counts of felony Child Molestation. In addition, the U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regional office was contacted regarding Francisco. ICE officials placed a hold and detainer on him. 

Francisco remains in the La Porte County Jail and is being held without bond.
