Child nearly struck by tree while sitting in his bedroom

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- A boy in North Carolina survived a close encounter with a lightning strike and a falling tree.

Around 3:30 Saturday afternoon a gust of wind sent a giant tree through the roof and into the six-year old's bedroom as he sat on his bed playing video games.

"The tree limb went through his room, inches from him on the bed. God just blessed him," said boy's grandfather Bryan Graves.

Luckily the boy only walked away with a few bruises.
