ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Smart Brand Ambassadors is set to host a chili cook-off on Saturday to raise money for displaced veterans.
The cook-off will take place at 933 Nutrition, where taste-testers will have the chance to try eight different chilies.
Variety is a point of emphasis with vegetarian and vegan options available for those with different dietary needs or preferences.
The cook-off begins at 3:30 p.m. and runs through 8:30 p.m.
Each chili being represented will have a donation bucket at their booth, and visitors can vote for the best chili by donating money. Each dollar donated is one vote toward the top prize.
A first and second-place winner will be crowned, and all funds will be sent to the displaced veterans in need at the Robert Miller Sr. Veteran's Center.
More information on the event can be found on Facebook.
