SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- The Ray Kroc Community Center’s “Christmas in July,” Charity Drive ends Friday. The initiative aims at filling the Salvation Army’s food pantry to meet the need of families struggling during the summer.
The goal of the week-long drive is to raise $4000 and have 4000 items donated by noon on Friday. People are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items along with, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and dish soap.
Monetary donations can be made by testing JULYFOOD to 41444.
