PORTLAND, Maine -- A Portland, Maine man is being forced to walk while he whistles.

Robert Smith has been cited several times for loud whistling in public. 

Because of these citations, a court said if he wants to whistle, he must be moving.

Smith says he is just trying to make people happy.

"That's my ultimate goal I think I show the world that you can be happy doing the simplest thing everyday like whistling," said Smith.

All of this started when several stores complained that Smith's whistling was driving away business.
