City asks kids to shovel for sweet ride

BUCHANAN, Mich. –The City of Buchanan is asking the kids in town to lend a hand and in return they get a pretty sweet ride for helping out with the Buck Town Challenge.

Since kids had a snow day on Friday and have a holiday Monday, the city is asking them to spend some of their free time helping shovel a neighbor’s sidewalk.

This good deed won’t go unnoticed. If you take a photo of yourself shoveling and post it to the City of Buchanan’s Facebook Page you get free wristbands  to the first ever Thrill on the Hill.
The city is shutting down Front Street on January 27th and 28th for tubing down the 850 foot hill.
The Buck Town Challenge runs through 5 p.m. Monday, so head out and grab a shovel!
