City leaders gather to celebrate Eddy Suites opening
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend city leaders gathered together Thursday afternoon to celebrate! A new concept of business offices opened at Eddy Street Commons.
Mayor Steve Luecke and Jeff Rea helped to cut the ribbon.
Pete Buttigieg was among those in attendance.
People ABC57 talked to say they are excited about what this new development means for South Bend!
"You fill a gap that is critical and will allow us to attract workers, not only in South Bend, but workers who otherwise might be living in Chicago, Atlanta, or Indianapolis, who can work from South Bend because of the infrastructure that we've put in place,” said Mayor Steve Luecke.
The offices cater to small business owners and work like a gym membership. You pay a monthly rate and get to use the building and all that comes with it!
