GOSHEN, Ind. – The City of Goshen held a free mask giveaway on Monday, June 1st. The event was held in front of the City Hall building downtown.
1200 hand-sewn masks were donated to the cause by Sew Loved Incorporated.
Residents were able to drive or walk up to receive up to two free masks.
“So really listening to the doctors in the medical field and they believe there’s still a need for the mask so I’m going to take that to heart and as long as there’s spread of COVID-19, I’m going to be encouraging people to wear masks,” said Goshen Mayor Jeremy Stutsman.
The Mayor encourages everyone to wear a mask and continue socially distancing.
