City of Goshen holding free outdoor movie May 24

City of Goshen Parks and Recreation Department GOSHEN, Ind. -- The City of Goshen Parks and Recreation Department announced that it will host a free outdoor movie night at Shanklin Park featuring new version of The Little Mermaid this Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m.
Organizers say attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to set-up for their families to enjoy an evening at the park and concessions will be available for purchase.
The city says this is the first of many summer events the Goshen Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting.

- Fiddler Pond’s Fantastic Fishing Derby, Saturday, June 28 at 10 a.m.
- Dive-in Movie Night at Shanklin Pool, Saturday, June 8, at 8 p.m.
- Pop-up Water Park at Pringle Park, Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Kids’ and Teens’ Triathlon, Shanklin Park, Saturday, July 6, 2024
- Splash-Tastic Weekend at Abshire Park, Friday, July 26 – Sunday, July 28
- Rock the Quarry Triathlon, Saturday, Aug. 10
- Touch a Truck, Shanklin Park, Saturday, Aug. 24
