City of South Bend modifies grant program to provide COVID-19 relief

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend announced that they are making changes to their Love Your Block assistance program to provide relief for neighborhoods and organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City announced the introduction of the Acts of Kindness grants, which range from $250 to $350 and will go toward developing community programs.

Neighborhood associations can also qualify for free subscriptions to video conferencing platforms, which include Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.

The subscriptions are for an entire year.
