City of South Bend to offer amnesty days for parking tickets

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend announced that April 30 and May 1 will be the days in which late fees associated with parking violations will be forgiven.

The City says that the amnesty days are a great way of galvanizing residents to pay off their overdue parking tickets.

Additionally, the ticket amnesty also prevents additional costly penalties from accumulating, such as legal fees and court fees.

Ultimately residents can avoid legal action and save money by taking advantage of the amnesty days.

Ticket amnesty programs have been implemented throughout the country and have seen similar success.
