SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Mayor James Mueller announced Thursday that the city will be partnering with Indiana Michigan Power to replace around 12,000 street lights with LED bulbs.
The energy-efficient bulbs can last up to 12 years.
Work on the bulb-replacement project is expected to be completed sometime this fall.
