Claypool teen in hospital after flipping ATV

CLAYPOOL, Ind. — A 13-year-old is in the hospital after an ATV accident in Claypool. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Mason Johnson was attempting to jump a ramp. When he landed the ATV nosedived into the ground, causing it to flip over. Johnson was thrown from the vehicle.
His head hit the ground, but he was wearing a helmet and goggles.
He was diagnosed at Kosciusko Community Hospital with a concussion. He was later transported to a Fort Wayne hospital.
