MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced on Friday that Washington Avenue will be closed between N. Merrifield and Niles Avenues beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, for sewer repairs.

"Weather permitting, this closure is expected to be in place until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 13," city officials said.

"Barricades and signage will be in place during this closure.  Motorists are requested to use caution to ensure the safety of the crews working in this area."
