Red Arrow Highway closures at I-94 start next week
COLOMA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced they will close Red Arrow Highway at I-94 Exit 23 in Stevensville, on Tuesday, May 14, to set bridge beams.
Then from May 15 to 17, there will be one northbound lane of Red Arrow Highway open to traffic and southbound traffic on Red Arrow Highway will be detoured westbound on I-94 to John Beers Road Exit 22, and back to Red Arrow Highway.
May 18, both northbound and southbound lanes will reopen to traffic.
The Red Arrow Highway ramp to westbound I-94 will also be closed for rebuilding.
This project is part of MDOT’s three-year, $204 million project to rebuild 8.5 miles of I-94 and four bridges, and repair nine more bridges between Puetz Road and Britain Avenue in Berrien County.
The project's completion is weather dependent.
