CMHU identifies man who ran from police, shot by resident

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has identified the man who was involved in a police pursuit and was shot by a resident on Sunday.
The man who was shot was identified as 27-year-old Allen Hunter Stamps.
He was wanted on active warrants in Elkhart County.
Stamps remains in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
