Whitmer makes cocktails to-go a full go in Michigan

Michigan has made its cocktails to-go law permanent, providing another shot of business for restaurant and bar owners.

Governor Whitmer passed the cocktails to-go law during COVID to help the troubled restaurant and bar business, but the law was set to expire in the near future.

This week Whitmer signed legislation that makes the law permanent.

Michigan is now the 23rd state in the country to allow people to purchase alcoholic drinks to go.
