SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Today people in the community had a chance to get to know their local and men and women in blue a little bit better over a cup of joe.
Officers with the South Bend Police Department had the chance to sit one-on-one with different people and talk about anything on their minds.
Visitors were also able to enjoy a free cup of coffee and a cookie at the "Coffee with a Cop" event held today at the McDonalds on South Michigan Street.
