Cold, damp start to week; hard freeze by Tuesday morning

It's a cold, damp start to the week. Temperatures Monday morning dip into the upper 30s. It feels cooler (at times like the lower 30s) with a breeze out of the north and a little bit of mist.

A light rain shower could be possible, but most precipitation at this time is more of a lingering mist or drizzle.

Any lingering precipitation should clear by lunch time, and there is a little peek of some sunshine this afternoon.

Temperatures won't warm much, with highs in the low 40s today.

Tonight under partly cloudy skies, temperatures drop dramatically into the mid 20s - our first hard freeze of the season.

Halloween Tuesday is cold and breezy. Highs climb into the upper 30s, but it will feel like we are in the 20s for the majority of the day.

We could see some snow showers or a rain/snow mix Tuesday afternoon and evening. A tiny bit of snow could accumulate on grassy areas.

Wind gusts 25-30 mph with falling snow could create low visibility at times Tuesday evening.

Precipitation should taper off by early Wednesday morning.

High temperatures begin to climb back through the 40s then into the 50s to end the week.
