ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Thursday, March 12, 2026

There is a Flood Warning for several rivers across northern Michiana, thanks to recent rainfall. If you see standing water on roadways this morning, turn around, don't drown! Find an alternate route.

Out the door this morning, temperatures are significantly cooler than yesterday morning. Temperatures will be on the cooler side today, with highs only in the 40s this morning. Skies will be much brighter today; however, it will be fairly breezy. There a chance for some light showers to move in overnight; and accompanying these showers are even stronger winds!

A High Wind Watch will be in effect beginning Friday from 5AM-8PM. Friday will be very windy with gusts up to 50 mph! Be sure to secure all outdoor items.

The next round of weather arrives Sunday through Monday bringing winds, rain transitioning into snow, and a huge temperatures dive, from the 50s to the teens by Tuesday morning. The rapidly cooling ground could allow some snow to stick. The rest of next week looks calm and seasonable.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 44.

Tonight: Chance for light showers late, winds pick up. Low 38.

Friday: Very windy High 42.

Saturday: Cloudy, Rain/snow overnight High 44.
