Collision in Niles Township closes US 12

NILES, Mich.-- A pick up truck and a semi hauling 84 hundred gallons of ethanol collided this morning!
It happened on US 12 at 3rd Street in Niles Township around 3 pm.
Both vehicles were damaged but the tanker held on to the cargo.
The driver of the pick-up was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
US 12 was re-opened just before 7 am June 30.
