NILES, Mich. — For the very first time this spooky season, the ABC57 crew was given an exclusive look inside the 2026 Niles Scream Park to see what visitors can expect from this year's attractions.

From spider-filled rooms and operating tables to a terrifying return to high school, each corner turns into a curated scare. Every year, the Niles Scream Park team designs a completely new and immersive experience; including the addition of water effects to the haunted house layout.

“They put in water attractions in the first bit,” said Assistant Parking Supervisor, David Guisbert. “In the haunted duplex, which is amazing, it really takes you out of a standard haunted house when they add effects like that”.

However, water is not the only new element coming to the park this fall. For the first time ever, the Niles Scream Park is introducing an option specifically tailored for its adult visitors: the "6 Feet Under" bar.

“We're proud to introduce the 6 Feet Under bar," said Niles Scream Park Director Aaron Smith. "Just something different for adults to be able to still enjoy the spooky atmosphere, but on a more elevated, and of course, safe level.”

To enter the bar, guests 21 and older will need a scannable, government-issued ID. Visitors will receive wristbands with two pull tabs for bartenders to remove, limiting patrons to a maximum of two drinks.

The new venue will operate on Fridays and Saturdays in October, as well as during the park's annual "Black Out Weekend" in November.
