Coloma Township woman killed in single vehicle accident

COVERT TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A 44-year-old woman from Coloma Township was killed in a single vehicle accident Friday morning in Covert Township.
According to Covert Township Police, a passerby found the victim in her 1996 Pontiac Grand Am in the 78000 block of 48th Avenue. The driver was already deceased.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
Investigators are waiting for the toxicology report to see if alcohol or other controlled substances contributed to the crash.
