ELKHART, Ind. -- The Common Council approves leasing for the Concord Mall parking lot.
It's the latest step to make way for a $20,000,000 mixed-use development to take the place of Concord Mall.
Developers have already started construction.
Monday night the Common Council unanimously voted to lease the parking lot to assist with surrounding site development and infrastructure.
The city has committed $5,000,000 to the project, which is expected to add new jobs.
