Congressman Rudy Yakym makes stop in Nappanee as part of 'Hoosier Veteran Voices Tour'

NAPPANEE, Ind. - Congressman Rudy Yakym made a stop at Nappanee City Hall Monday morning as part of his office's week-long "Hoosier Veteran Voices Tour" happening throughout the second district.

Yakym thanked men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States military and honored those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

In part, Yakym said, "Today, we remember and reflect on all those who served, but never made it home. Those who gave their last full measure of devotion in defense of freedom and liberty. Who gave their very lives that our nation might live."

Yakym met with several veterans in attendance at the event.
