Construction work to begin on Chapin Street bridge

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A big construction project is underway in South Bend and it will also affect walkers and bikers.
Crews are getting to work on the Chapin Street bridge. The bridge near the Kroc Center will be closed until June 15.
The detour is Sample to Michigan, then to Western, and finally to Chapin.
