BRIDGMAN, Mich. -- One of the reactors at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant went offline early Wednesday morning.
It happened around midnight in Bridgman. Indiana Michigan Power said unit 2 is being refueled. Crews will also perform maintenance and test work.
The shutdown is expected to last about 30 days, but I&M said their customers shouldn't notice a difference.
Next year unit 1 will be refueled.
