A few areas of patchy drizzle will move out by mid-morning, and then dry weather remains in the forecast the rest of the day. Temperatures this afternoon will still be on the cooler side with most places only reaching highs around 70 degrees. Tomorrow, a front will move in out of the west bringing rain showers and thunderstorms by mid to late afternoon. Kickoff for Notre Dame football should remain dry, but by late game showers and a few thunderstorms are expected. Those showers and storms will stick around until Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon looks dry and quiet with a little sunshine returning. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s.
Next week looks really nice with high temperatures slowly warming into the upper 70s and lower 80s by Wednesday. Lots of sunshine is expected as well for the beginning and middle part of the week. Rain chances return to the forecast next Thursday.
