Michiana falls into the low 30s right around freezing tonight with cloudy skies and breezy conditions due to a cold frontal passage earlier today. Fittingly for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, our area will feel similar to Ireland: cool, damp, and overcast. Winds from the northwest keep highs in the upper 30s on Sunday with abundant cloud cover, but a shift to northwesterly winds late Sunday night will trigger scattered lake effect snow showers through Monday morning. Most snow will stay north of US-30 and accumulations will be minimal, although a thin coating is likely on grassy surfaces. Northern Cass and Berrien counties may be closer to an inch. The rest of Monday stays partly cloudy with lows bottoming out in the upper 20s. Expect a bump in temperatures on Tuesday into the upper 40s as higher pressure moves in from the west.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 32.
Sunday (St. Patrick's Day): Overcast, snow developing late. High 39.
Monday: AM snow showers, partly cloudy after. High 36.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 47.
