ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, October 3, 2025
Temperatures start off cool this morning under clear skies, but will warm to the upper 80s by afternoon. Temperatures will make a run at 90 this weekend, making for a warm Notre Dame Kickoff on Saturday—bringing near-record highs for October.
Warm and dry conditions persist, making our drought conditions worsen. In response to elevated fire risk, burn bans have been put in place for Pulaski, Fulton, and LaPorte Counties due to concerns over field fires.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel—the next chance for showers is on Tuesday, temporarily helping the fire concern; but, won't be enough to alleviate drought overall. After the showers pass with the frontal boundary, temperatures cool to more seasonal highs, and we could even see a frosty morning by the end of next week.
Today: Sunny, few clouds, hot. High 86.
Tonight: Cool, mostly clear. Low 62.
Saturday: Sunny, hot. High 87.
Monday: Sunny. High 86.
