ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department announced, in partnership with Dunkin', it will hold "Cop on a Rooftop" at the Dunkin' location on C.R. 6 on Friday, August 16, from 5 a.m. to noon, to raise money for Special Olympics Indiana.

According to the official event page, for 10 years, Dunkin' has teamed up with local police to raise money for the Special Olympics on Dunkin' rooftops throughout Indiana.

EPD officials say even though they won't really be on the roof, officers will be there collecting money for the cause.

The participating Dunkin' is located at 335 C.R. 6 in Elkhart.
