There's little change in the pattern over the next week, a near copy and paste, day to day. The deep freeze lasts through the next 10 days, with no sign of temperatures rising above freezing. A low below zero however remains elusive, it's been more than two years since dropping below that mark in South Bend. There will be a few rounds of light snow this week, Wednesday and Thursday night. A system to watch is forecast to our east this weekend but could possibly throw more significant snow our way Sunday, that's wait-and-see. We could drop below zero next Monday morning.
Tonight: Scattered light snow. Low 10.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, flurries. High 22.
Wednesday: Afternoon/evening light snow. High 20.|
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High of 20.
