Coroner identifies man who drowned in South Bend residential pool

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – On Tuesday, the St. Joseph County Coroner’s Office identified the man who drowned in a residential pool on Swanson Street as 57-year-old Harold Skiles.
According to investigators, Skiles was dog sitting at the time of the drowning.
There are no indications of foul play.
Skiles was pronounced dead at the scene by Clay Fire personnel.
