Court date set for Chicago teachers strike

CHICAGO -- A court date is now set for Wednesday pending the outcome of Tuesday’s teacher union vote.

Monday was school day No. 6 of the strike in the nation's third largest school district. The district calls this illegal and said it’s against state law to strike over non-economical issues like performance evaluations.

More than 26,000 teachers and 350,000 kids are still out of the classroom.
