Covert residents still without power

COVERT, Mich. -- It has almost been a week since severe storms blew through Michiana and some residents in Covert in Berrien County, Michigan are still without power.

Many of the residents have generators so they are able to live in their homes. Others have had to move to hotels.

Power isn’t expected to be restored until later in the week. Indiana Michigan Power says power should be restored by Friday.
