Crash sends cop car into building and officer to hospital

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend Police Officer was injured in an accident early Monday morning.
The officer collided with another car at the intersection of South Main and West Sample streets in downtown South Bend around 2 a.m.
The impact sent the officer's car into a nearby building owned by Michiana Moving and Storage.
The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The other driver's condition has not been released.
