Crews battle overnight apartment fire in South Bend

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused an a apartment fire on South Bend's near west side.
It happened early Friday morning in the 600 block of West Colfax Avenue.
The 911 call came in around 2:00 a.m.Fire crews arrived to flames shooting out of a 4th floor apartment. They managed to get the fire under control quickly.
No injuries were reported. Other residents in the building were expected to be able to remain in their apartments.
