Dog dies in house fire on Sorin Street in Niles

NILES, Mich. – A house on Sorin Street that was being remodeled was destroyed by fire Thursday morning. A dog died in the fire.
Clay Fire and Niles Township Fire responded to the fire at 245 Sorin Street at 7:45 a.m.
The house was a total loss.
The cause is under investigation.
