Crews begin tearing down vacant houses for widening project

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Construction crews began tearing down vacant homes along State Road 23.
INDOT is widening the road and getting rid of the infamous five-point intersection.
Crews marked the houses for demolition a few weeks ago.
