Crews dispatched to deadly house fire in St. Joe County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A deadly fire broke out in St. Joseph County.
Firefighters scrambled to put out flames as they consumed a home on Darden Road around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
There were two people in the house when the fire sparked. Dispatch has confirmed that one person did make it out safely and a woman died.
It took crews about 30 minutes to put the fire out.
