Crews in Lincoln Township extinguish substantial grass fire

BERRUIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Lincoln Charter Township Fire Department put out a grass fire on Monday that ignited along I-94 near the 22.5 mile marker.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

It is believed that some hot ashes and the wind caused the fire.

No one was injured during the incident.
