Crews tackle flames at Benton Harbor apartment complex

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — Medics rushed to get elderly tenants out of burning apartments in Benton Harbor.
A fire sparked just before 10 p.m. Thursday at a senior living apartment complex on River Terrace Drive.
Firefighters evacuated the entire high rise as flames ripped through through a sixth floor apartment. Crews managed to contain the fire to one apartment.
No one was hurt in the fire.
