Crews to demolish homes and five point intersection on State Road 23

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We learned that the demolition of houses along State Road 23 in South Bend will start next week.
Crews will be making room the removal of the city's infamous five-point intersection.
Roads will be rerouted and homes torn down.
The work there will continue to football season but INDOT told us the work won't take place during game days.
One lane will stay open in each direction at all times.
