CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Chicago Cubs earned a 10-5 win over their rivals, the Chicago White Sox, Friday night in game one of the Crosstown Classic series.
The Cubs put up 14 hits on the night, led by Catcher, Carson Kelly, who went 3-for-5 with four RBIs.
The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for the White Sox, who fall to .500 at 22-22 on the season.
The next matchup of the three-game series is tonight at 7:10 p.m.
