Chicago Cubs star pitcher coming to Four Winds Field

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish will make a rehab start Monday night for the South Bend Cubs.

Darvish and the South Bend Cubs will face West Michigan at 7:05 p.m.

The pitcher has been on the disabled list with right triceps tendinitis since May 27.

Darvish is 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA in his first season with the Cubs. He signed a six year, $126 million deal in the offseason.

Darvish is now the third Chicago Cub to make a rehab appearance for the single A South Bend Cubs.

Outfielder Dexter Fowler played two games in 2016 and Jason Heyward made a rehab start in 2017.
