SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The city of South Bend has been slowly transitioning neighborhoods from alley to curbside trash pickup. River Park is the latest neighborhood to make the transition, which means you'll see more trash cans than usual.
The city has been phasing out alley trash pickup to cut costs and improve efficiency.
