Cycling Competition Held June 16-17

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- It was a great day for a bike ride in South Bend and hundreds of cyclists took advantage of it..

Spinzone Cycling and Proform Bike Shop came together to put on a weekend of cycling competition.

June 16th the spot of choice was right next to Howard Park right along the St. Joe River.

Organizers are just happy they can put a big event on like this in South Bend.

"it makes us all really feel good about our sport. We're promoting our sport, and people see it. We like to bring in young people onto our team. Teach 'em the sport, hopefully they'll race collegiately and then after they graduate from college." said Dave Beaverson.
