Dangerous heat has already arrived in Michiana, with the hottest weather still to come Thursday. Feels like temperatures will likely be close to 100 through 8 PM tonight. Overnight lows will only dip into the upper 70s, so we'll remain very warm and humid overnight. Temperatures alone could reach the upper 90s on Thursday, with the heat index potentially eclipsing 110 degrees. A few thunderstorms are possible Thursday night, but there's still a lot of uncertainty with that potential round of rain. Regardless, a front will put a dent in the heat Friday, with highs retreating to the middle 80s. It will feel MUCH better for this weekend, with lower humidity and highs in the upper 70s.
Tonight: Extremely warm and humid. Low 78.
Tomorrow: Dangerously hot and humid. High 97. Heat index of +110 possible. A slight chance of storms at night.
Friday: Partly to mostly cloudy and cooler. High 84.
Saturday: Much nicer. Mostly sunny and less humid. High 78.
