Rainy and windy Tuesday, but electing a sunnier end to the week
This is the coldest morning we have seen all season and it is close to breaking records for coldest morning on this day. Wind chill is -10 to -30 across Michiana making it dangerously cold outside. Bundle up with extra layers if you have to head out today. Highs remain bitterly cold, only topping out in the single digits but we will have plenty of sunshine. Cloud move back in tonight ahead of a clipper system that brings light snow after midday. Lake effect snow develops behind the system Wednesday night into Thursday. Significant snowfall totals will be possible by Friday morning in NW Michiana.
Today: Mostly sunny, breezy. Highs near 8.
Tonight: Increasing clouds, low near 0.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, afternoon and evening snow showers, high of 14.
Thursday: Lake effect snow showers, highs in the lower teens.
